Acumem partners with High Performance Computing expert consultancy HiPERiSM to resell Acumem software in the USA
North Carolina and Uppsala, 8 September, 2008: Acumem, a provider of intelligent software for single- and multi-core environments, today announced that it has partnered with HiPERiSM, an expert consultancy and software reseller in the High Performance segment, to resell its multi-core optimization tools, initially SlowSpotter and SlowSpotter Pro, in the USA.
HiPERiSM Consulting, LLC, is a High Performance Computing (HPC) consultancy dedicated to working with clients in facilitating the transition to the new era of desk-side parallel processing. The key offerings are training in HPC skills, consultation support/contract development, and by acting as sales representative for key developer software technologies, such as Acumem SlowSpotter.

Acumem SlowSpotter™ Pro is the expert version of Acumem SlowSpotter™. It mainly targets programmers with expert knowledge in performance optimization and gives more options in data capture, allows for an unlimited number of threads to be analyzed, and also advises on more complex code changes than does Acumem SlowSpotter™. Similarly to Acumem SlowSpotter™, the Pro version gives hands-on advice based on analysis of cache and bandwidth related performance problems for single- and multi-core systems.
